The floor is open for nominations: what local or state environmental groups would you like invited to participate here? I have some in mind, but if you know of good work being done by organizations or even individuals that flies under the radar most of the time, please share a name and whatever contact information you have here.

Also, while there may or may not be a thread for each of these, here are the categories that I’ve sketched out for the different categories of news and information that I’ll be collecting – it’s not too late to shuffle the deck a little if you have any tips or suggestions.
